Partner Companies and NGOs Workshop in Denizli IUWM Project

Partner Companies and Non Governmental Organizations Workshop was performed in Eskisehir IUWM (Integrated Urban Water Management) Project

“Denizli Integrated Urban Water Management'' project is a project in scope of 'Sustainable Cities Program' implemented by World Bank's technical and financial support. Project is implemented simultaneously in 10 cities of Turkey. The project was started on October 30, 2020 and it is foreseen to be completed on January 30, 2022.  As part of the project, 'Partner Companies and NGOs Workshop' was made on August 18, 2021 in Nihat Zeybekci Congress and Cultral Center in Denizli. 

The workshop commenced with opening speech of DESKİ (Water and Severage Administration) General Manager Mr. Niyazi Turlu. There was a broad participation from NGOs and Partner Company Representatives. In the workshop, 'Denizli Integrated Urban Water Management Project' was explained and opinions of partners were received. ALTER Project Manager Dr. Ilker Atis, Pamukkale University Lecturer Prof. Dr. Halil Karahan and Erciyes University Lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oltan Evcimen gave presentations to inform participants. 

After the workshop, monohemerous Project introduction and training program was realized in DESKİ (WSA) General Management devoted to DESKI (WSA) GEneral Management Staff.  Above mentioned lecturers and ALTER authorities also took place in this program.
