‘Suludere Dam’, one of Turkey’s first ground dams was projected by Alter.
Suludere Dam which is one of Turkey's first ground dams will be established on Catak Creek, in 6 numbered Kucuk Menderes Basin, 0.7km north of Suludere quarter in Kiraz district of Izmir, middle of Aegean area. The aim of the project is to provide irrigation water for agricultural areas of Suludere quarter.
Within the scope of the project, 109 units of plaster strip and approximately 14.2m depth, a total of 196m axle long slurry-trench covering will be produced to provide underground water storage. 4 units of pumping well will be opened in alluvium to provide irrigation water.
In the project area, annual precipitation is 546,2 mm, considering axle place, precipitation area is 24.8km2 and total runoff potential is 0.914hm³/year. On axle place, total water volume which can be stored in allivium was calculated as 55.080 m³. According to this, gross 41 ha; net 37 ha irrigation area will be met with water. Thus, national agricultural revenue numbers will be contributed 873.985TL/year regarding 2019 unit prices.
Project's total investment value was calculated as 11.079.359TL regarding 2019 prices and rentability rate was calculated as R=1,30.
