The Delegation of Pakistan Visited Turkey.

The delegation headed by Saif Anjum, General Manager of Pakistan Punjab Region Irrigation Affairs, visited our country on 19 October-29 October 2021 to conduct examinations on Water Structures and Irrigation Systems in our country, briefed with the officials of the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works and made examinations at the relevant places.

✓Akif Özkaldı, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was visited in his office.

✓Şadiye Yalçın, Assistant General Manager of Ankara State Hydraulic Works, was visited and, Several briefings were held on;

• Closed Irrigation Projects and Construction with DSI Survey Plan and Allocations Department and Project and Construction Department officials,
• Operation of Closed Irrigation Systems with DSI Operation and Maintenance Department, 
• Underground Dams,

Also, some historical places were visited. Throughout the visit process, our Pakistan official Gökhan Gökçe accompanied the delegation.

✓Mehmet Ekici, General Manager of Konya State Hydraulic Works, was visited and,

• Irrigation Site visit,
• Meeting at the Irrigation Association,
• Inspections on the Irrigation Field,

was held and, some historical places were visited. Ramazan Kısacık, one of our Expert Engineers, accompanied the delegation in Konya.

✓Hayrullah Çoşkun, General Manager of Antalya State Hydraulic Works, was visited and,

• Oymapınar Dam visit,
• Alanya Irrigation Field visit,
• Dim Regulator and Settlement Pool investigations,
• Briefing on Dim Closed System Irrigation,
• Irrigation Association visit,

was held. İlker Atış, one of our Expert Engineers, accompanied the delegation in Antalya.

✓Celaleddin Ensar, General Manager of Istanbul State Hydraulic Works, was visited and,

• Briefing on the Istanbul Melen Project,
• Investigations at Cumhuriyet Treatment Plant,

was made, and historical places were visited. Our Expert Engineers İsmail Hakkı Başeğmez and Kutay Yılmaz accompanied the delegation in Istanbul.
