Training Workshop was conducted to public institutions in Bosnia & Herzegovina by courtesy of Alter

Within the scope of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Flood Risk Management Plan Preparation Consultancy Services Project, a training workshop was held in Sarajevo Hollywood Hotel on October 19, 2021 with the participation of technical personnel of all project beneficiaries, including institutes, ministries and quality control units. The aim of this seminar is to extent the knowledge of participants about the objectives of the flood risk management project and the flood measures to be taken as a result.

In line with the workshop program, the objectives of the European Union “Water Framework Directive” and national strategies were discussed. Information was given about the catalog of measures of the European Union commission, the types of those measures and how they could be evaluated within the scope of the project were discussed. Explanations were about the reduction of flood risk after the implementation of flood measures. 

In the survey conducted with the participants at the end of the workshop, it was measured that the participants ended the seminar with close to 100 percent satisfaction.
