Within the scope of Flood Risk Management Plan, Second Training Workshop in Bosnia Herzegovina was conducted by ALTER

Within the scope of the Technical Assistance for preparation of the Flood Risk Management Plan in Bosnia and Herzegovina Project, the second training workshop had been completed successfully. The main theme of the training was procedures for selection of measures in areas with significant flood risk and areas with mutual interests whose are concern of neighbor countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The training was held on 15th of December, 2021 in online platform. This meeting was held online because of great number of covid cases throughout the country. The participants of the training were all project beneficiaries, including institutes, ministries and quality control units.

The aim of this training was to extent the knowledge of participants about the objectives of the flood risk management project and facilitate active participation of them when accomplishing these objectives. In line with the training program, the objectives of the “EU Water Framework Directive” and national strategies were discussed.
