Consultancy Services for Preparation of Water Supply Planning Report for Filyos Basin Settlements (Çaycuma, Gökçebey, Devrek Districts and city centers)

Project area is defined as the transmission line between Filyos village that lies on the Black Sea shore and Devrek district and 2 ponds that are inside Devrek district. The water source of the Dam is the Filyos river. The main focus of the report is to provide sectoral planning through a technical and economic feasibility study for the dam to assess how much water that can be allocated for drinking water and how much can be allocated for irrigation purposes, and to make the detailed design of the transmission main that will transfer water from the dams to the city.  Population estimates and future water demands are assessed in order to allocate necessary drinking water. All villages and districts have also been taken into consideration while determining the population and water supply demand. A transmission main from the dam till the city has been designed in detail, and a drinking water treatment plant, has been planned. 13 hm3/year water will be supplied only for drinking water purposes.
